About

Hello! My name is Bailey. If you read the sidebar the part about me being charming is a blatant lie. I'm kind of awkward and shy and won't speak unless spoken to. I'm really happy and love people, but my behaviour hides these qualities (I swear it's something I'm working on). Once you move past that, I'm actually pretty fun. I am an Expressive personality type. According to StrengthsFinder, my top strength is communication. I guess it's fitting that I'm a Creative Communications student at Red River College.

Professionally, I've been on a wild ride. I started at the local radio station in Winkler, Manitoba when I was 15-years-old. And yes, they put a teenager on the air. I fell in love. I moved up from being a part-time jock, to an events coordinator, to a reporter and anchor. Long story short, that led me to where I am today - working as a news anchor, reporter, and technical producer at 680 CJOB.

I enjoy thrifting, watching plants grow, and drinking coffee. I love photography as a hobby (everyone with a smartphone is now a photographer so there's no point in competing professionally), and I shoot with film more often than digital. I loved riding my bike, but it was stolen.

I must add, my cat is my best friend. He has changed my life. His name is Eugene. He has his own Instagram account. I'll just leave it there.
